Daily journal October 22, 2000. Beautiful fall leaves in the foothills of the Blue Ridge.

Without rain for 30 days and the ground is getting quite dry, however, it is the most beautiful time of year and with a 30 minute drive North, you can see why it is special with the golden brown and red leaves on the trees here, at least those that lose their leaves. The home of poet Carl Sandburg with the goat farm is only 40 minutes North on Highway 25 at flat Rock N.C. and Hendersonville 45 minutes and Asheville with Thomas Wolfe one hour and the fabulous Biltmore House. There is not a place on earth any more beautiful and October is so mild, not being hot or cold. I thank God for being born here and living here and for the things He has provided me with including a mind to paint art and a paint brush and canvas from time to time to express myself and to praise the Lord with all my strength. I like the guys that paint graffiti from here to California and the art especially in California and in Europe as well, because they have a message. New York may be the capital of the graffiti expressionary art form that usually has an extraordinary message. Listen to their art and hear great things. Usually these people do not speak in a different language that politicians can hear and this is why they paint over such great art.

We are to magnify the Lord in all we do everyday, from Him a world of blessings.

The subject of mri as magnetic imaging when compared to a cat scan which has X ray is one we need to study more before such test is ever performed on us personally. I believe that the MRI may be safer. As yet I do not understand the total facts of either, but I am trying to find out. I had hay fever real bad and found that the only thing that would stop the drainage was triaminicin, but now I find that it has ppa, so I will put it away. I have not suffered from hay fever in many years. When I see so many things recalled from the medical world, I believe all over the counter or prescription medicines are dangerous. Good food may eliminate all the need for the medications while giving us a healthy and happy life of feeling good and actually enjoying living. I'm sure our families and friends and neighbors sure would be happier as well if we smile at them and we are truly happy.

Our days may be short, it is time to repent and follow the Lord foursquare and seek Him.

The dangers of our time and we were long time coming from Old Testament days back to Abraham when his affair with the handmaiden that bore Ishmael as Abraham's son that clashed with Isaac a few years later. That feud has been going on every sense and then in about 700A.D.the prophet Mohammed saw a vision of what is today Islam and wrote the Koran by which really set Arab after Jew. The war goes on in Palestine because it is now profitable. We can expect greater things and in the near future as this “scorpion of the desert”1 billion Strong marches toward the free world in their suicidal mission to rule all.

There is no smart in the front runner rim for president that would know what to do then. We will need the gifts of the spirit and we will need a close connection to God to survive the final hour. We will need good food rich in nutrients as did the armies in Cleopatra's time. We need to stay well with a good attitude and strength in our bones to survive hard times that was caused from the abundant supply of poor food. Let us trust the Lord God almighty and take on the whole armor of God that we may withstand all of these things, predicted in the Bible that are coming true upon the earth. Psalms 22-23"Ye that fear the lord, and praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify Him; and fear Him, all ye the seed of Israel. 24-For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither has he hid his face from Him; But when he cried unto Him, He heard.25-My praise shall be of Thee in the great congregation; I will pay my vows before them that fear Him”.(C)
